I’m a professional dancer and ballet teacher, and have been working in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2001.
I have pets and plants, and play acoustic guitar. I do not own a couch, television, microwave, or my current home.
I have been sober since 2013 and do not take drugs, although I believe in the use of certain psychedelics for self-exploration.
I have been vegan since 2014 and continue to follow a whole foods plant-based diet for health, environmental, and ethical reasons.
I am passionate about animal welfare, and believe it is willfully ignorant of people to support the exploitation and mass murder of innocent sentient beings.
I believe climate change is an urgent and existential crisis, and it is incumbent on human beings to take an active role in its mitigation.
I am disheartened by the greed, bigotry, and corruption of our elected officials, and have no faith in any political system.
I hate guns, support equality in the truest sense of the word, and feel that everyone is to some extent, inherently queer.
I do not believe in any higher power, and am strongly opposed to organized religion of any kind.
I believe in the power of the individual over any semblance of community, however small. People will inevitably change your mind.
I believe that actions speak louder than words, most things are better left unsaid, and clichés are unavoidable.
I believe in humility, sincerity, empathy, and simplicity, wherever they can be found.
I believe in love, and that it is not enough.
